Sister Wives was picked up for a seventh season, and the pilot episode, called “It’s Over,” aired on September 11, 2022. The second episode of Season 17 called “Is There a Favorite Wife?” came out on September 18, 2022. In it, Janelle’s family fights to get rid of COVID, Christine tells Kody she wants to move to Salt Lake City with Truely after deciding to leave him, and Ysabel shares some exciting news.

Meanwhile, Kody’s relationship with his sons Gabriel and Garrison, who live with Janelle, seems to have gotten worse since Season 16. Garrison wants to cut off all ties with his father. We see Kody tell the camera, “It seems like he’s blaming me for all the COVID stuff going on in our family. This has gone on too long,” he said, referring to the strict lockdown rules he had put in place during the coronavirus pandemic. Gabriel and Garrison kept going to school and seeing their girlfriends in spite of them.

Sister Wives Overview and Cast

Sister Wives is an unscripted family drama show on TLC that follows Kody Brown and his four wives, Robyn, Meri, Christine, and Janelle, and their 18 children. Some of them already have their own kids! Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, their family has been broken up.

Kody’s first wife, Meri, had a child with him named Leon. Kody and his second wife, Janelle, have six children: four boys named Logan, Hunter, Robert, and Gabriel, and two girls named Maddie and Savannah. Christine, Kody’s ex-wife, has six children with him: a son named Paedon and five daughters named Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely. Robyn has two children with Kody: a son named Solomon and a daughter named Ariella. She also has three children from a previous marriage: a son named David and two daughters named Aurora and Brienna.

President of TLC Network Originals and Streaming, Howard Lee is quoted to have said,

“When Sister Wives was first shown on TLC, the whole country was interested in a family whose life was very different from most.” Lee also said, “The Browns shook up the idea of a traditional family, and even now, over a decade later, their family dynamics still strike a chord with viewers because they are honest, open, and now, relatable.”

The first episode of the reality show aired on September 26, 2010. At the time, the family lived in Lehi, Utah. Since then, the Browns have moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2011 and to Baderville, Arizona, without a town centre, in 2018.

The show is called “Sister Wives” because all four of Kody’s wives get along well and aren’t competitive or mean to each other. Kody’s only legal spouse is Robyn Brown, but he says that his marriages to his other three wives are “spiritual unions.”

Where to Watch Sister Wives Season 17 Episode 3?

The family drama airs on TLC, and fans can sign in with their cable provider to watch the new episode on TLC.com. You can also stream the show on fuboTV and Discovery+. Aside from these, you can buy or rent Sister Wives Season 17 on Vudu, iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Instant Video. Fans can also watch it on Philo, which has a free trial for 7 days, and on DirecTV.

Sister Wives, which has been on TLC for a long time, is said to be back with its most shocking season yet. This is true, as there is no shortage of tearful goodbyes, dramatic breakdowns, or hard conversations.

Even though the Browns say they are polygamists, by season 16 Kody Brown lives mostly with his wife Robyn in the house they bought together. Janelle rents a separate house but spends the warmer months in her RV, which is parked on the family property in Coyote Pass. Meri also rents a home in Flagstaff.

Naturally, the Brown family is farther apart than ever, and fans think that by the end of Season 17, too much will have changed for this group to ever be the same again.
