The Canadian drama series Transplant premiered on CTV on February 26, 2020. It was made by Joseph Kay. Bashir “Bash” Hamed is the main character of the drama series. He is a Syrian doctor who moved to Canada during the Syrian Civil War. He is now starting over as a doctor in the emergency room of the made-up York Memorial Hospital in Toronto.
The show came back for a second season in June 2020. It first aired on CTV on January 2, 2022, and then on NBC on March 6, 2022. In February 2022, both CTV and NBC gave the show a third season order. A tweet from CTV on August 8, 2022, says that the first episode of the third season will air in Canada in 2022.
Etalk, which is owned by CTV, says that season three will have 13 one-hour episodes and start in the fall of 2022. The winner will be announced in 2023. As the newest resident at York Memorial Hospital and a refugee from the Syrian Civil War, Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed must overcome several obstacles to start over in the competitive field of emergency medicine.
Recap Of The Previous Season
When Bash talks to Rania again, it brings back painful memories. Novak, Mags’s new boss, notices her a lot because she always goes above and beyond. June is in the running to become the Chief Surgical Resident. After a morbidity and mortality analysis, Bash and Dr. Bishop are at odds with each other. Bash’s loyalty is put to the test when Dr. Bishop has trouble getting back to work. Mags had a scary encounter with a hard patient. Bash helps his friend Khaled, who doesn’t have papers, fill out an asylum application. Bash is stuck between a member of a rival gang who has been shot and a police officer who is looking for him.
The patient’s father forces Bash to make a hard choice in order to save the patient’s life. Bash needs to control his urges because it could hurt his chances of becoming a doctor. Dr. Bishop’s plans for the emergency room get mixed reviews, and Bash splits his time between the needs of patients in two different countries.
When a storm knocks out the power at the hospital, Bash uses what he knows from having lived in a war zone. Bash and Amira go on vacation while changes at the hospital cause a lot of trouble. Bash stops to help an angry man on the bus and finds out some shocking things about his future. In the season finale, Bash fights for Dr. Bishop’s legacy, and important questions about his future are answered.
